The Puro hospital bed from Stiegelmeyer sets highest standards in the areas safety, comfort, easy operation and hygiene. It was developed together with customers and care experts and thus solves many problems that arise during the day-to-day work in hospitals. During the construction phase great value was set on a significant relief of care staff.
The MultiFlex+ safety sides, for instance, can be operated effortlessly with just one hand. The damped lowering mechanism of the supports makes the adjustment of the safety sides especially easy and safe. The split MultiFlex+ leaves patients with enough room to get in and out of bed if desired. Thus, the patient can sit and get up again early on.
The LCD handset with just 3 buttons and a large display offers intuitive control levels for patients, care staff and technicians. Even patients with limited capabilities can safely adjust the bed. For technicians, the handset facilitates the maintenance of the bed thanks to its intelligent analysis and reset functions.
The Puro is easy to manoeuvre and can also be moved around precisely and quickly in limited spaces and corridors. Thanks to the optional 5th castor, turning the bed on the spot is even easier. The optional brake signal prevents the bed from being moved while the power plug is still plugged in and thus helps to avoid damages. Under the name “e-help” there are additional digital assistance systems available – such as the Out-of-Bed system that can switch on an under bed light when the patient gets up and informs the care staff if the patient does not return to bed.
Reliable hygiene and the successful fight against multi-drug resistant pathogens are a focus on every ward. Thanks to its planar and almost gap-free design the Puro can be cleaned easily and thoroughly. Cables and electronic components have been moved into the frame construction but are still easily accessible for maintenance. Upon request, the Puro is also available in a machine-washable version. The hospital benefits from highest hygiene standards as well as relief of staff and time saved during bed reprocessing.
