The Proximal Humerus Plate 3.5 is part of the LOQTEQ® Plating System. The plate design and the position of the screws on the plate aim at stabilizing the humeral head.
The LOQTEQ® Proximal Humerus Plate 3.5 is positioned approximately 10 mm distal to the rotator cuff to reduce the risk of impingement.
Cancellous locking screws are positioned in a diverging manner. In addition two calcar support screws help to ensure a high degree of stability in normal and osteoporotic bones. Located in the articular part of the plate suture holes in the direction of tension enable additional fixation of the tubercle fragments.
Field of Use:
The LOQTEQ® Proximal Humerus Plate 3.5 is indicated for various fracture situations, e.g. displaced and unstable fractures with 2, 3 or 4 fragments, reconstructable fractures of the humeral head, combined diaphyseal fractures, non-unions and osteotomies of the proximal humerus.
Detailed information on the indications for individual plates can be found in the IFU and in the surgical technique.
The set includes anatomical plates from 3 to 12 holes in the shaft. The LOQTEQ® Proximal Humerus System 3.5 is either available as modular add-on set to the LOQTEQ® Small Fragment Instrument Set or as stand-alone set.
