The German Healthcare Export Group (GHE) e.V. brings about 50 innovative and strongly growing companies from the area of medical technology, which are strongly export oriented, together. The GHE provides these member companies with a platform for exchanging their export business experiences.
The GHE offers customers a wide variety of products and services, from OP equipment to hospital IT, and covers almost the entire medical technology product range.
All in all the association represents around 80 percent by volume of all German exports in the medical technology sector.

Welcome to the Arab Health 2012! GHE impresses with a new booth concept (01/23/2012)
Just like in the past few years, the German Healthcare Export Group (GHE) e.V. is also once again represented this year at the leading international Healthcare trade show in the Middle East. The participating GHE member companies and their guests however will encounter an entirely new booth concept. True to the motto openness and transparency, this year and for the first time ever, the adjoined member companies will showcase in custom-made booths, separated by gauze curtains. In addition to the individual competence and expertise of each member, in doing so the GHE puts the common goal of all GHE companies in a nutshell: top quality and innovative medical technology – made in Germany – for global use. more …

Geuder now offers ready-to-use gas tamponades in syringes. The sterile, pre-filled syringe system enables quick and easy preparation. Visit the GHE at Arab Health 2012 in SAEED-Hall, Booth S1E 54 (12/14/2011)
As last year, the German Healthcare Export Group (GHE) is represented on one of the most important fair in the Middle East: The Arab Health in Dubai. This year the GHE-Lounge has the following location: SAEED-Hall, Booth S1E 54. Other GHE-members will present their products in the German Pavilion at Zabeel Hall and elsewhere. With more than 2.200 exhibitors from about 60 countries and over 50.000 visitors the Arab Health is the largest healthcare exhibition in the Middle East and of great importance beyond the region. As in past years the GHE will convince in 2012 through a strong common occurrence, by showing the individual skills of the member companies from a variety of healthcare sectors. The Xenotron III offers excellent endoillumination with even the smallest fiber optics. By means of maximal light intensity, the Xenotron III optimally illuminates the fundus to provide the surgeon with a better view. The unique integrated PHOTOTOXGUARD system continuously monitors the emitted light and warns the surgeon of possible phototoxicity. Siemens Healthcare wins largest imaging equipment order in Latin America (12/08/2011)
Siemens Healthcare has won the largest order for medical imaging equipment ever awarded to one single supplier in Latin America. Over the next three years, Siemens will deliver 60 highly innovative imaging systems and software to the private investor Alliar which intends to cover small cities in several Brazilian states with Siemens cutting edge magnetic resonance, computed tomography and molecular imaging systems increasing diagnostic confidence and allowing for earlier detection of diseases. The deal with Alliar ideally reflects Siemens’ strategic approach to support BRIC countries improving their healthcare infrastructure outside the big megacities in more rural areas. “We chose Siemens, because the company offered the best combination of product quality delivering excellent results and high performance through the lowest downtime currently. Greatest efficiency for the smallest incisions: the new Double Cross-Action Auffarth Capsulorhexis Forceps (01/23/2012)
In cooperation with Prof. Gerd U. Auffarth of the University of Heidelberg Eye Clinic, Geuder has developed a new MICS Double Cross-Action Capsulorhexis Forceps. The design of the branches which lie over one another makes the forceps ideal for small clear-cornea incisions of down to 1.6 mm. The double cross-action mode of function gives the surgeons more freedom of movement in the anterior chamber, promoting effective capsulorhexis. This new and innovative technique is more gentle to the edge of the incision and prevents the iris from being pinched, particularly in cases of intraoperative Floppy Iris Syndrome (IFIS).

VoyantLink™ Expands Image Sharing to Patient Exam Planning, Templating, and Other Clinical Applications (12/06/2011)
Brainlab announced today the launch of VoyantLink™, a cloud-based image sharing, viewing, and enrichment platform for clinicians, hospitals and imaging centers at the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA). VoyantLink is the first service/product of its kind to move beyond image sharing to an effective cloud-based workspace, where users are able to access their images in the cloud, as well as launch and employ clinical planning tools and push completed plans to any device or storage location. Capitalizing on the largest annual radiology meeting’s theme for 2011, ‘Celebrate the Image,’ VoyantLink will contribute to Brainlab’s vision in clinical decision-making.

Siemens Healthcare introduced its new radiography system Multix Fusion at the 97th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) 2011. Multix Fusion enables small and medium-size hospitals to deploy proven high-end Siemens technology without overtaxing investment budgets. The system supports the full spectrum of clinical applications, but is much more affordable than comparable predecessor models. Multix Fusion features components that until now were offered only in the upper price segments, such as the height-adjustable, 300 kilogram capacity examination table. Thanks to its high reliability and attractive service contracts, the system’s operating costs are also comparatively low. more …
