The German Healthcare Export Group (GHE) e.V. brings approx. 50 innovative and strongly growing companies from the area of medical technology, which are strongly export oriented, together. The GHE provides these member companies with a platform for exchanging their export business experiences.
The GHE offers customers a wide variety of products and services, from OP equipment to hospital IT, and covers almost the entire medical technology product range.
All in all the association represents around 80 percent by volume of all German exports in the medical technology sector.

GHE Meeting at Brainlab Sales GmbH in Feldkirchen – Challenges in Middle East (06/12/2013)
This year‘s summer meeting of the German Healthcare Export Group (GHE) e.V. took place at June 6, 2013, in Feldkirchen. The GHE members followed an invitation of Brainlab Sales GmbH to Upper Bavaria. Together, they informed themselves on current export topics in the healthcare industry.
Core themes on the agenda were specific challenges of the growing market in Middle East. They were presented by Klaus Siegerth and Ulrich Martin, Executive Partners of SieMa Consulting GbR.

The member organizations of the German Healthcare Export Group e.V. (GHE) represent producers of the full spectrum of medical technology offerings, from stethoscopes to operating theater robots. As a dynamic demonstration of the practical application of their products, the GHE has produced multiple film episodes to tie their solutions to real life challenges. In each film a unique situation is presented whereby devices are shown in action.

Multifunction and Wheelchair Scales now Wireless (05/14/2013)
The seca multifunction and wheelchair scales prove themselves every day in hospitals and doctors’ offices around the world. They offer several solutions to problems with weighing persons who have trouble walking or patients with equilibrium disorders. Now seca has optimized the functionality of these scales by making them wireless and thus part of the product system seca 360° wireless. Thanks to the seca 360° wireless technology, the platform and bariatric scale seca 635/634 and the multifunction and wheelchair scales seca 645/644, seca 685/684, seca 677/676, seca 665/664 and seca 657/656 can now transmit all measurements to a seca wireless printer, to the software seca analytics 115 on the doctor’s PC or directly into an electronic patient file. more …
PROTEC’s PACS solution with new orientation: PROPAXX (05/14/2013)
For the single user version, the CONAXX 2 iagnostic Viewer will be used in the future, whereas the PROPAXX software is intended for multi-user- PACS applications. No matter if the image acquisition is made with CONAXX 2 or different acquisition software of another manufacturer, PROPAXX receives your CR- or DR (DX) X-ray images through the DICOM interface for further processing, diagnostics and external communication.
The new basis is the PROPAXX Diagnostic Server System. Comprising the conventional PROPAXX server next to the multi-user-functionality PROPAXX NET (including floating licence concept) and three PROPAXX licences (this basis usually covers the demand of a resident doctor).

Leica Microsystems and TrueVision® 3D Surgical announced the debut of 3D surgical microscopes at the 81st Annual Scientific Meeting of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS). By incorporating the digital smart 3D system inside select models of Leica Microsystems’ surgical microscopes, Leica Microsystems and TrueVision® have eliminated the need for a separate 3D cart. Surgeons can control the 3D recording functions, without interrupting their workflow, via the microscope hand and foot controls, and OR staff will benefit from easier, faster setup and more space to maneuver in the operating room.
