Two innovative companies are partnering to enhance research and to discover therapies against grave diseases worldwide: GHE-member Leica Microsystems (Wetzlar) and Mauna Kea Technologies (MKT) (Paris) signed an exclusive distribution agreement for the German high-tech optics company to market the innovative system developed by Mauna Kea Technologies.

New ultrasound technology from Siemens may reduce breast biopsies (03/12/2007)
VIENNA. A new method in ultrasound known as eSie Touch Elasticity Imaging was shown by GHE-member Siemens Medical Solution at the ECR 2007 (European Congress of Radiology) in Vienna, Austria. Physicians hope that this new method, which is an adjunct to regular breast ultrasound examinations, may provide a clinically relevant differentiation of benign and malignant tissue. more …
