DÜSSELDORF. GHE-member Siemens Medical Solutions unveiled the world's first dual source computed tomography (CT) system, a breakthrough that will redefine the role of CT. Siemens has pushed the technical and clinical boundaries of CT with this latest innovation, the Somatom Definition, which is faster than every beating heart and capable of imaging full cardiac detail with as much as 50 percent less radiation exposure compared to traditional CT scans. more …

BONN/BERLIN. Established in the early 90s of the past century, 45 companies which are sited in Germany are today counted among the German Healthcare Export Group.
At the beginning of 1991, companies such as B.Braun, Eppendorf, ATMOS or Dräger formed up of purely practical reasons and founded an association called German Export Community of Interest Pharmaceutical, Laboratory, Dental and Medical Technology.
