ERLANGEN. The most frequent cause of death of women aged between 40 and 60 is still breast cancer. 17,000 women of contracted 48,000 female patients in Germany every year die of a too late diagnosis. This should be relieved by an area-wide project of stationary and mobile screening centres throughout the whole federal republic.
