BONN. At the spring meeting of the GHE, that was held at the ZVEI in Frankfurt on February 18th, the member companies of the Association were welcomed by Hans-Peter Bursig, Managing Director of the ZVEI. He particularly praised the good cooperation between the two organizations.
In addition to the warm welcome, the members were able to listen to a great presentation by Mr Bursig on "Recent changes in medical law and implications for the medical technology“ that was of great interest to the members.
The country focus of the meeting was Australia. Wolfgang Christian, Siemens Medical Solutions, presented data’s and facts that substantiated the importance of the country at the other end of the world, as a growth market for medical technology. Experiences of members in this country agreed with his message and led to a lively exchange.
Above this, the GHE was able to hold a successful meeting: With the addition of the firms MMM Münchner Medizin Mechanik GmbH from Planegg and Diers International GmbH from Schlangenbad, the number of members GHE has now grown to 51.
