BONN. Following an invitation of the company KÖGEL, the next internal conference of the GHE takes place on February, 18th at the German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association (Zentralverband Elektrotechnik- und Elektronikindustrie e.V. - ZVEI) in Frankfurt. The conference devotes special attention to Australia.
The Australian health care market is growing. A population that is not getting any younger, rising immigrants, more privately insured and a greater health awareness, provide a surge in demand. The government needs to deal with reforms in order to eliminate the existing deficits. Already at the end of the year the central government secured to the states an amount of 4.8 billion Australian dollars ($A, approximately 2.65 billion euros, a 1 $ = about 0.55 euros) for public hospitals and 3.6 billion $A to provide coordinated health programs. These donations are distributed over five years to 2014. The growing sector is considered to be extremely lucrative: after all, Australians consume approximately A$ 100 billion annually in health care services. Against this background, the investment is likely to be lucrative for suppliers of medical equipment.
Well-known speaker and reports on the experience of GHE companies complete the program. The conference is open to GHE members only.
