About us
Since the foundation in 1990 the company medica Medizintechnik GmbH has consistently concentrated on the development and the sale of THERApeutical movement exercisers. From its seat in Southern Germany a worldwide operating company, gaining approximately 60% of the sales volume abroad and selling in over 40 countries in the whole world, has evolved.
Design and engineering concentrate their efforts on the needs of the users to meet the constantly increasing higher requirements of the therapy equipment.
The medica engineering team accepts this challenge with pleasure and enjoys the reputation of an "innovation leader" rightly today. Pioneering developments come from medica, such as the first exerciser controlled by a microprocessor in 1993, the smalles motor-driven exerciser in 1997 the first symmetric trainer in 2001 and the first standing trainer with BALANCE-function in 2003. It was always our aim to connect the user's needs to modern technology and ergonomic knowledge.
Competent and personal consultation is very important to medica. In addition, we offer the possiblity to test an exerciser free of charge for every interested party. "Only if our customers are satisfied, we can be, too!" - is a motto of the sales department.
As a quality-conscious company medica is certified according to DIN ISO 9001:2000 and DIN EN ISO 13485. All products are TÜV- (Technical Inspection Agency) and CE-checked.
